Who these terms apply to
The studio terms apply to all businesses that publish items or styling projects on Prestaged — home staging agencies, showrooms, interior shops, stylists and production companies. These terms apply in addition to the general terms of use.
The verification process
Studios are admitted after review. The process has four steps:
- Application. You provide company name, registration number, location, contact details and a description of the business.
- Review. We check that the business is real, active and professional. We may request further information.
- Decision. The application is approved, sent back for further information, or declined. You receive the decision by email.
- Right to publish. Items and projects can only be published once verification is approved.
Verification can be withdrawn if information proves inaccurate or the business ceases to operate.
Studio responsibilities
As a verified studio you are responsible for:
- only publishing items you own or have explicit rights to sell,
- keeping listings current and unpublishing sold items,
- responding to enquiries within a reasonable time,
- complying with Swedish consumer, marketing and tax legislation,
- ensuring agreements, payment and delivery are handled correctly between you and the buyer.
Ownership of uploaded content
You retain copyright to all images, text and styling projects you upload. You warrant that you have the right to publish the material, including rights from photographers and any property owners.
You grant Prestaged a non-exclusive licence to display the material on the platform and in editorial marketing of Prestaged. When the partnership ends, your content is removed from the platform at your request.
Accuracy of listings
Listings must give a fair picture of the item:
- images must show the actual item, not only press photos,
- condition, age, dimensions and any defects must be stated correctly,
- the price must be the one you actually charge, including VAT information where relevant,
- items that are only for inspiration or sold through another channel must be labelled with the correct status.
Communication with buyers
Enquiries from buyers are sent via Prestaged and land in the studio's inbox as well as by email. The buyer's details may only be used for the transaction in question. Marketing messages to buyers require separate consent.
No commission
Prestaged takes no commission, brokerage fee or share of the sale. The proceeds from the transaction belong to the studio in full. Any plan fees are shown on the pricing page.
Prestaged's role in the transaction
Prestaged is an intermediary platform and not a party to the purchase agreement. We are not responsible for payment, delivery, complaints, returns or disputes between studio and buyer. The studio is responsible for fulfilling any obligations as a trader towards consumers.
Prohibited content
The following may not be published:
- items that are stolen, counterfeit or unlawful to sell,
- material with copyrighted images used without the right to do so,
- misleading, discriminatory or offensive content,
- contact details or links intended to move traffic away from the platform for marketing purposes,
- content that discloses private individuals' homes or identity without consent.
Suspension
In the event of a breach of these terms, Prestaged may unpublish individual listings, pause publishing rights or suspend the studio account. For minor issues, we will contact you first and give you the chance to put it right. Serious breaches, such as stolen goods or repeated deception, lead to immediate suspension.
Decisions can be appealed by replying to the decision notice. We will then review the case again.
